Bradford Space
Space mobility building out the infrastructure of the Solar System
Overview
Bradford Space develops advanced propulsion, mobility, and spacecraft subsystem technologies for government and commercial missions across Earth orbit and deep space. With decades of flight heritage, Bradford is one of the world’s leading builders of spacecraft propulsion systems. Its portfolio includes cold gas thrusters, water-based propulsion systems, feed systems for electric propulsion, and high-performance chemical propulsion technologies. These systems power a wide range of spacecraft supporting Earth observation, telecommunications, rendezvous and proximity operations, and scientific exploration missions. Beyond propulsion, Bradford designs and manufactures spacecraft attitude and orbit control systems, avionics, and thermal subsystems. More than 2,100 Bradford products have successfully flown in space, demonstrating a long track record of reliability and mission success. Building on this heritage, Bradford is developing a new generation of high-delta-V, high-thrust, multi-mission spacecraft mobility platforms designed for demanding orbital and deep-space applications. These platforms enable spacecraft to reach complex destinations, including GEO, the Moon, Mars, and Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO), and support advanced mission capabilities such as in-orbit maneuvering and proximity operations around large spacecraft. Headquartered in the United States with major operations in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, Bradford Space continues to expand its technology portfolio to support the next generation of space infrastructure and exploration missions across the solar system.
